Dix Hills, NY - Home Design

What started as a cosmetic facelift turned into a massive overhaul when structural issues were discovered. We used this as an opportunity to completely transform this Long Island home from drab to fab. The clients are young and hip with elevated taste and a love for abstract art. We designed the space with this in mind, utilizing luxury finishes throughout with vibrant art pieces casually but intentionally placed.

With supply chain shortages a challenge, we were forced to find multiple creative solutions for this project. We mixed and matched moody colors, materials, patterns and textures in the show stopping powder room to provide a sexy boutique hotel experience. The custom wet bar, which was formerly a coat closet, takes on the same high end trendy style as the nearby powder room. Again being creative and managing longer lead times, we decided to use Ikea cabinetry with custom door and drawer fronts provided by Semihandmade. The marbled Porcelain backsplash and illuminated floating shelf call attention in this space, making each liquor pour just as exciting and luxurious as the last.

While the majority of the home is an entertainer and art lover’s paradise, we designed the primary bathroom ensuite with pure luxury and relaxation in mind. We used light, airy, high-end finishes and of course completed the space with a towel warmer. With this home design we made sure our client would never question their investment.
